We began showing Japanese Akita Inu when the breed was split on the 1st January 2006. We bought a puppy from the late Gary Byrne, which incidentally was the first litter to be bred and designated as Japanese Akita Inu in the UK.
Her name is Akakuru No Koko Go and her breeding lines are unique to the UK, being from pure Japanese Lines imported through Italy and Israel. Breeding on from her we now have two very successful young show winners, Kimiko & Maru.
